    It seems unlikely that the bankruptcy trustee doesn't have a list of these assets. And either has or is developing a plan. The OP made the landlord sound clueless which doesn't seem likely. The OP has probably talked to somebody that is not the owner and isn't aware of what is going on behind the scenes.

    If the landlord truly is clueless, they would be smart to talk to an attorney who specializes in commercial bankruptcy about the landlords rights and responsibilities.

    This isn't like "Storage Wars" or whatever it is called.

    But at some point it will be determined who actually owns what is in that building. They will be the legitimate owners of that property as determined by the court directly or existing law indirectly. They will NOT be the people that ordered and paid, but people that lost out in other ways. I wonder what people here think about any attempt to sell/dispose of what is left.......

    So did everyone get their money back? I know a lot a people including myself NEARLY got screwed. I was saved by my bank and VISA who covered me while I was deployed.
