I got to pull a car out of Bull Run Creek, driver was submerged to the waist. Scary shit to roll up on. Driver said they had been there for at least 10 min, early stages of hypothermia were definitely starting. Burn the shit outta my clutch in 4lo trying to snatch w/o getting whiplash.
The pic is taken after the rescue, my brain wont stop to think, take a pic, during the situation.

@EatSleepTacos and I both have these. Come as singles, so order 2. Perfect, small, and in your price range. They also come in a non-flush mount option.

If you go to the right place, they'll pass you with your windshield painted matte black and no wheels.

If you buy them as a set it’ll save you $10

I love them though. Can’t comment on the inspection aspect of it. I have mine tied directly into my reverse lights. What you could do is wire them into your reverse lights with a quick disconnect in them. Then come inspection time, just unplug it so they don’t come on.

    A thing or two...
Per the inspection law, backup lamps aren't required, but if they're installed they must work and have the appropriate certifications marked on the lens. The way the law reads, it sounds like you would be okay if you unhooked the factory backup light connectors and removed the bulbs. Replacement lamps would need to be SAE-R marked for backup lights. They might let you slide with something that isn't SAE-R marked, but it's going to depend on the shop and how strict they are.

@boogie3478 i met one of your fans the other day.
One of my students father's has a real nice 2nd gen w/ ARE contractor extreme cap, he mentioned the guy on YouTube with the wrap is where he gets lots of ideas and his Amazon acccount is always full because of it ;)
Going to try and get him to come out to some of the meets and wheeling trips.

Coming to work today was a mistake, but I didn't want to waste my leave if I didn't have to. Was still 2 hr late getting in.
