Your hood shouldn't be shaking! Get it to the dealer ASAP before something comes loose and it flies up on your windshield or worse.

No aluminum, but there have been a few hoods that separate from the bracing, your warranty would cover the repair if your truck has that issue.

    See my build page!
I notices that too. Its the flex in the hood. Not actually shaking per se. More like vibration...like it could use additional bracing under the hood. I'm not that concerned. Just noticeable.

I need to check my hood bracing before my warranty runs out

After reading about the tranny TSB, I brought my new-to-me '17 Sport to my local dealer and told them I noticed a problem when I was driving around 40-45 mph. I said it felt "different", like the motor was misfiring or something. The service mgr said "Did it feel like it was surging?" (the TSB 'buzzword', LOL) I said yeah, that describes it. They applied that TSB that day.

    About the Entune/XM Entertainment system

So I had a 2015 Tundra and when I was on XM Radio the left "d-pad" on the steering wheel was for UP/Down moved between your saved Stations and Left/Right went to the next XM Station. This was so convenient for when I wanted to scroll/browse what was on on the satellite.

However, I just got a 2019 Tacoma, and the left d-pad is UP/Down is for next programmed station and Left/Right is for volume, The only way (that I know of) to surf the next XM station is to use the "seek or tune" on the actual radio, which is fine but not as convient. is this just not an option in the Tacoma from the steering wheel. Sorry so long. I just want to surf while in traffic

I believe the steering wheel controls will only surf through preset stations on the head unit.

I was getting a howling noise coming from my side view mirrors,I ran a thin bead of silicone on the seam of the mirror housing and it went away for good!

A quick press of the up or down button changes to your next preset station, as you have described.

If you press and hold the up or down button a little longer (less than 2 seconds), you'll hear a beep and the radio will seek the next available station.

If you press and hold even longer, your radio will quickly scroll through the channels until you let go of the button - nice if you're on XM and want to get from channel 8 to 80 quickly.

This works on both AM/FM and XM.

I would like to add, that you can in fact lock the doors with the key fob in it, as long as you lock it with another key fob.

My wife left her key fob in my truck and if I tried to lock it with the outside door handle, it wouldnt let me. However if I locked it with the key fob, it would lock the doors.

Then I gave her my key and told her to go inside. The door wouldn't unlock even though her key fob was in it, unless I had my key fob.

    Or just disable the key.
Hold lock and press unlock 3 times. Light will flash three times. Key is disabled. It will work again when you press any button.

Just learned something new after over a year. The rear headrests click into the seats when folded down. There are holes ready for them. So. Remove headrests. Fold seats down. Insert headrests into the provided holes on the back of the seats.

I mean that works, but I dont want to be remembering to be disabling my wife's key when we ride together. Door locks just by hitting the lock button on the key fob and no key fob trickery stuff would be needed
Only way I have seen to lock the door while running is to manually use the key to lock and unlock the doors.
