My horns of fire installed :)

Is the bug guard too much? Been considering taking it off, it worked good while driving the back roads of Marysville, but dont drive out there much anymore...

Celtic, nice devil horns. The bug guard breaks up the lines of the hood, in a bad way. Unless you really really need it, remove it. Just sayin'.

This is too much. I was going to wait until I did a Grillcraft mod to install the horns. Think I will do it tonight after work.

I an liking the horns a fire.

Hey man...I didn't mean to be rude and stuff but I hate bug shields. 1. they dont really work 2. they scratch the shit out of your hood 3. they just look out of place. I don't know. I don't like to tell people stuff on there truck is ugly because "to each there own". Without that, everyones truck would look exactly alike and that would suck.

On the other hand.......THOSE HORNS LOOK SO SICK!!!!! Andres is da bomb!
Good choice on the fire horns.

Dont worry I didnt think it was rude, I know they do help with bugs, but only like gnats and smaller bugs, and only below the speed of about 55-60 Faster than that, doesnt do much. As for scratching, depends on how its installed, hopefully my precautions while installing it worked.

Thanks for the compliment, I must admit, the more I look at the fire horns installed, the more I like it :) I will update picts tonight when I remove the "ugly" guard :D

LOL! Yeah.......those horns are awesome. I love mine. I don't think there will be anyone even close to my area that will have em. I love having something unique that no one else has.

    Home before Christmas I hope.

    Stay safe in Irag.

BTW I was stationed in Camp Swampy back in 69 and 70 and was deployed to Vietnam from there.

Is Hinesville still a small sleepy little town with a Dairy Queen as the only fast food in town?

When I was there the camp did have a golf course. The water hazards were real hazards. Never defend yourself from a gator with a golf club.

Fort Stewart was the largest fort east of the Mississippi and located in the Okefenokee Swamp.

    Now back to the thread.

New pics without the bug guard. Hood has a little paint damage, but not too bad, the special tape I used to cushing the brackets slipped down on two, but 2 out of 4, its still a fail on my part.
