Driver mod is the best thing for saving cv axles, unless they are aftermarket then there's no saving them. But if you're breaking them then either buy some RCVs for $2300 or buy OEM because you're gonna go through some aftermarket ones pretty quick

Cool Springs Toyota in Franklin tends to have good prices on parts when I've called.

Both scooters and the crutches are mine. Scooters from late 90’s, crutches from New Years 2 years ago.

I think the racket was my uncles in the 80’s? My garage is full of weird shit.

TRD Off Road sticker. Not the whole package, just the sticker.
I missed you breaking them but from what Tim told me, you weren't doing much when they snapped.

https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/323607544099 oem has the green sticker in the middle. Can find them on ebay pretty cheap. Some may need a boot put on due to a ripped one but you can buy a cv rebuild for roughly 30$ at some dealers. Camelback Toyota is one

Ignore the dirty truck. Haven't touched it since aop. Got the blower motor swapped out along with a new resistor, New sti seats, and a new alternator. Now she needs a detail.

    Driver mod FTW!

Bouncing and full steering lock are CV killers.

I hate changing CVS almost as much as I hate putting a wheel and tire back on a truck in the mud with snow falling...

Based off the look on your face, that’s a pretty high level of hate.

    You could DIY skids.
Gas tank skid is pretty easy shape to fab one. Or just cover the oem skid with 3/8 thick plastic sheet like I did.
