Funny....but when most folks make an appointment and the dealer says "COME ON IN" you would expect that they have the parts.

Not something I would second guess.....

No where does it say he made an apt or that they told him to come on in. He says he called and they said 2-3 weeks to get it in. And it sounds as if he just went at 3 weeks. Yes they blew it by not ordering BUt what if it had been ordered and just not arrived. Always Confirm.

Unless the story is there was a confirmed appt I see shared responsibility here on the OP.

Tell them you would like to buy two cars at a time and ask them if they have the same policy, will they prep two cars at once?

Of course they will. Then tell them to go suck a big bag of hairy dicks.

The dealership called me on Friday to confirm the appointment. They were the ones that screwed up.

Oil is not a 'service issue', it's scheduled maintenance.

The trans is a service issue. That's one.

Plus the 'no more than one' ..... if that's their policy they are stupid. If they claim that's Toyota's policy, they are lying. Or maybe they are both.

At 200 miles of travel it's not worth the headache for a 'free' oil change anyway. And any dealer can perform warranty work. They may be the closest, but sounds like they are trying to bully customers who have limited choices.

I would have called the day before and spoke with the service manager. Would also ask if the receptionist is cute. Get my game face on for the day. Woo Hoo. Good luck OP.

The thing that really pissed me off was the fact that they called me on Friday and confirmed the appointment. They are not open on Sunday. With 8 am appointment dealer is not open at 6 am when I had to leave.

    Seriously??????

If the OP has not expressed his issue to the dealer then you are WAY off base!

Personally, I have had nothing but good service with Stevinson.
