Idk, just started the class. My knowledge level about it is still at 0%. All I know is Fanuc is your stereotypical yellow robot with a tool head on it. My school has 4 that are real small, but still have the full range of motion as the big guys at Toyota etc.

Retail is good. If I had to do retail I’d probably be a server, the tips are nice.

Being where I live I’d make good money as a delivery driver or an Uber driver. Maybe I’ll get a camper shell and deliver for Amazon.

Or maybe I’ll fix up that Civic and do Uber.

There’s lots of automation, robotic and machine tool companies around my neighborhood.

That Fanuc place has to be a front for something.

Retail is ok. Youll be home at 10 or earlier, never there before 8 in most places. My issue was I couldnt have the same schedule each week, they were always changing it. Never uunderstood why we couldnt get set schedules considering how many people worked there.

That's so key, the focus needs to be on the process not the results. Take care of the process and results will come

Do you have Amazon Couriers around your neck of the woods? Seems like they make good money.

I had this blonde woman in an S55 AMG convertible deliver me my Amazon Package one day. Weird.

Yeah thats it. Automation is everywhere. Thats one of the main reasons why I picked it as a major. Every single state in the US has LOTS of companies that build machines. Theres 3 within 10 miles of me. My advisor has a list of palces he tells grads to apply to. Most start around $60k which is great starting money where Im at.

I work seasonally for a high end catering company. Catering is a fun side gig. We’d go out to these huge company functions or weddings and cater them on-site.

Line cooking is fun. I’d be a server sometimes too.

I considered automation for a while. Home automation always interested me, but I know industrial automation is where the money is at.

Being where I am in the country something in the computer field was for me.

I’ve done retail before, I enjoy the social part of it.

The manager dude realizes this is a college town so that’s what he’s gonna get for empolyees, he said he puts school first and will work with me and my schedule.

    Shouldn’t be terrible

    +discount soooo
