A lot of people on here have the Aries so I'd figure it's just as good as the Westin. $205 is a great price if it's new...about $45 less than retail for the black, $90 less than retail if you're talking about the stainless steel version.

I have an Aries also.... I really like it. Just gotta find some time to get my lights on it. It's definately worth saving the $50 versus buying the Westin.

I have the aries black bar with the aluminum skid plate. Looks good as long as you keep it polished.

Can the skidplate on the Aries be removed, or is it welded on?

Yes...without the lights, the upper holes are covered with plastic/rubber plugs. The holes from the underside of the tube are a little bigger so you can get a socket up in there.

Dont listen to Max, its what you want, i had the aries and i painted the skid plate black and it gives it a good look, on a white truck like that i would go black with a black skid plate.
