Evening All.workin nite shift.ive got a good young crew now to build!one suprised me tonite.last week i saw him after work at grocerey store.i was pickin up a box of yellow labels banquet beer. he came over tonite and layed 10 bill on my tool box witha note for yellow labels for helping him last week with mechanical issues he had. i gave it back and said not nesecary but appreciate the thought. he is a good kid and will do well.good youngins still do exist!!

There was a company called Powroll up in Oregon back in the 70's that you could send your motor to....cams, big bore, polishing and whatever would get more power. They died off but I read they are coming back but sticking to the vintage bikes.

There is a place over the mtn.west of Ronoake called theHomeplace. its a farmhouse turned into a family style resturant.no menu,they ask how many meats you want,pan fried chicken,roastbeef,country ham and bring bowls of food familystyle and keep bringing it.and they get busy fast.@ 15 minutes from I-81..its RealGood!!

A friend of mine is fighting a bad starter kickback problem on his 13.5:1 498 BBC . He's running the same MSD 7AL2 plus gold ignition box , same as mine and also a MSD Start retard

Also a few years ago he was having issues with the starter not being able to turn the motor over fast enough like the starter was struggling from to much timing advance

Any ideas where the problem could be ???
