Well aren’t you smart? Yes you are correct. 31k for truck, my own 5k but my dad hooked me up with just signing the papers. He did not pay a single cent

Well they put alot of trust in your hands cause it's there credit your screwing up not yours when you can't make the payment

 

Was never easy gaining that trust so I do plan, no not plan, WILL pay it entirely. I love my family

 

And your young start building a good credit history it will pay off in the next 5 years

 

This made me laugh. I used to use that phrase a lot too. I also use to think I "made bank" when I was a server back in the day. Good for you kid. Ahhh memories.

Get a secure credit card use it pay it build that credit to get your own house car in your name loans ect.

It isn't the cash you have in the bank is the credit you have that puts you in what you want

 

Cause I could walk into any dealer with 5k in hand buy a 40k vechile and still pay 600 plus a month for 6 years when my mom can walk in buy the same vechile with zero down and only pay 425 for 6 years I swear credit a scam

 

Dont you have to have cash in order to have good credit though?

Without cash you have no credit. Cash is king

 

Not necessary if you have no cash then you just put yourself in debt by you don't have to walk around with a g in your pocket to have go credit

 

I think it's all about responsibility if a lender sees you can make payments on time or you can pay something off early then they will be more likely to lend you something

 

I guess, that sounds like a nightmare though

 

If you make more money then you spend then invest some of that money into retirement or stocks whatever your comfortable with cause one day you have it and the next it could all be gone

 

If you want a good investment buy land houses cause land always goes up in value

 

All these young guys making money while there young keep in mind that your eventually going to get old and not be able to work that same job making the good money you need to think of the future put money away so it's there later

 

good for you....i know what you are dealing with....my grandson has 1325 on SAT, 4.2 with 30hr college credit.....his parents make too much money for grants as with you.....but, he was very lucky......got scholarship for baseball at great school.......without that, it would be $75k a year......good luck and study hard......deferred gratification is still a good thing.....you will go far in life and reach your goals, just like my grandson.......
