My wife keeps one glass on her nightstand for the cats, and a second for her that she covers with the TV remote or something.

...just to rub it in that I'm at work, and she's got our little asshole to cuddle with.

Nova does the same thing. Her water apparently isn't good enough so she has to have our water too. My wife has resorted to keeping a capped water bottle instead of a cup by the bed.

Lana’s appointment at the vent went fine. They gave her an antibiotic and an antiinflammatory shot and sent us on our way. Well, once we paid them. Apparently it started out as ‘eczema’ according to the vet and she’s got a few more spots that might be starting to bother her. Hopefully this does the trick, as the vet confirmed that neither a cone nor a bandage will work out.

My cats have always shared water with me! In fact, I usually have to fill up at 2/3 of a glass to make sure the little one can reach. My Bellatrix would only drink water from a yellow cup, so I always had one on the night stand. Now Sterling and Lana will drink from any cup, but Lana much prefers to drink straight from the sink with the water running. She usually wears more than she drinks, though.

Meh, I do that on purpose because our Maine Coons, Angel and Lexi, used to do that to my glass. My wife gets grossed out by it, then again as a kid, I used to let the our cats drink milk out of my bowl while I was still eating. lol
