There are so many leafs at my work. We have an insane amount of chargers in our parking garages that employees get to use for free. Leafs are definitely the most common EV on our campus. Model 3's are starting to ramp up though.

    Looking for advice...

3rd gen here, short bed double cab. Looking to put a suspension kit on, would ideally like 2.5 - 3" of lift (aesthetics) but would like something that I could do some mild off roading in New England with... any particular kits that won't bend me over and fist my butthoerrrrrr wallet?

What do you mean by aesthetics? Like a body lift?

Also I would also be more concerned with proper skids/sliders as well. Yes you can make do without them on 80% of the stuff in MA but in NH you can go from a walk in the park to holyshit that rock/root just took out my rocker real fast...

Nah, eff a body lift lol but I want it to look obviously taller. I don't like the low stock height and I don't really know if 2" would be noticeable. I haven't had the luxury of parking my stock 18 next to a lifted 18.

Yea a 2-3" lift would be sufficient, majority of the Tacoma's I see are lifted around that height. Get a set of proper skids/sliders to pair up with that and you'll be golden for majority of the newb/mod runs. Oh and a proper set of tires is key

I strongly dislike BMW drivers. The X3 and X5 drivers are a very particular brand of douche bag it seems. Range Rover drivers seem to be a close second.

Is it because they drive slow? That's why my buddy says he hates 'em, but I have a totally different experience! I live on route 89, which is the major thoroughfare for VT to commute to Boston. So I see a lot of VT plated, liberal Prius's drivers with Bernie Sanders stickers all over it doing about 110 mph up and down 89 every day. They are by far the car that seems to have the most to prove. Usually I am driving 75 to 80 mph solid and these Prius drivers pass me like I am not even touching the gas. Freaking liberal hypocrites.. what great gas mileage those ugly cars must get when you have the pedal mashed right through the floor.

Everyone I have ever encountered in the left lane was causing traffic.. even when I'm in my truck and at most I'm doing 75 in that thing (and that's pushing it with the setup). If only left lane bumping were legal... :turtleride:

I did the bead board V side on my bedroom ceiling with crown molding
I whitewashed the boards prior to hanging. Mixed paint (semi gloss) at a (50/50:) ratio with water. I applied it like stain, brushed it on and wiped it off with a rag. Came out nice.
I wanted to treat the knots with an alcohol based primer( Zinsser)) she wanted the “pickled “ look so I didn’t.
She caught me while I was at it and stopped me.
I friggin hate when knots bleed through. Think it’s awful looking.

You can probably see a couple of primed boards in there

Prius... Seems the be asshole driver car, either slow as hell, and lurking in the left lane.
Or driving it like a damn race car.

    Either way....not my bag.

Once I am done at the DMV(I am next), gonna head to my local stealer, and, see about a different truck. Just to satisfy my curiosity......

Another TRD OR(or maybe a Pro)

    Just thinking long term.
Mine is loaded, plenty of instances with dealers fighting warranty issues on BSMs, etc, because the truck is dirty, scratched, etc..
Tossing around trading it for a stripped down manual trans... Less potential issues.
I like the truck. Trans seems to have settled, now, it is typical of every other auto...

Just messing with numbers right now is all, since I am off.

I like the color, though. Very vintage coastal looking.

What kills me about the EV's is how fast they lose value. This summer the local Nissan dealership had a couple of '14 & '15 Leafs on the lot for $12k, with under 40K miles on them. They were $25-$30k cars three years ago. :der:

One of the reasons the used EVs are listed so cheap used is because the tax credit for a buyer isn't applicable on used cars. I forget the numbers, but say your 30k MSRP new EV qualified for a 7k tax credit, you essentially pay 23k. That credit doesn't exist on the used car purchase, so there is a lot less incentive to buy used.
