You plan on using it only on the trail? or to abuse the shit out of it?

I'd say Stihl MS 170. cheap and lightweight https://en.stihl.ca/STIHL-Products/...for-property-maintenance/2212-110/MS-170.aspx

Even the 171 is on sale, cheaper than the 170 https://en.stihl.ca/STIHL-Products/...or-property-maintenance/21344-110/MS-171.aspx

51* of bone chilling winter super storm. It is drizzling, heavy over cast and windy. Just overall yuk weather. It does not help I have a cold and flu like symptoms.

Just for trail. Don't want gas. I just want battery. It's just to clear the trail if need be and help with firewood. I like the dewalt cuz its brushless and randy approved it and also cuz they specialize in battery powered tools. But I know husqvarna makes some good chainsaws just maybe not in the battery powered department

I feel you about gas. I think Randy has the 20V one. could be an option for you too, cause 20V are more popular than 40. and then you can have all kind of accessories for that 20V. I just bought a dewalt power source to charge my phone and light up my luminoodle

I'm not really a dewalt guy lol If Milwaukee made a battery chainsaw I would be all over that. Plus the 40v would be a little stronger and maybe last longer

I know a lot of folks bash on Harbor Freight but there Lynxx 14" 40A chainsaw is a little BEAST!
I admit though, I haven't used it enough to run down a fully charged battery. Of course on the trail we're not trying to build log cabins so... ;)

@la0d0g got in my head so I decided to reorganize the spare parts for a little more room. Cut it out and then plastidipped it to give it a cleaner look
