With Camburg's stock length replacement lower arms coming out shortly, it was time for them to release their fully fabricated spindles for the customers wanting the ultimate combination of parts.

Camburg designed these around the factory OEM spindle geometry and took them to the next level in strength and craftsmanship. With over 15+ years of running history of the stock design and Camburg building custom versions for the military, they took what they've learned and know and applied them to the new Camburg performance spindles. They improved upon the design Toyota started, with a much stronger detailed version. Like their 4.0 spindles, they relocate the ABS speed sensor that is prone to being damaged off-road internally.

These work on 4wd and 2wd Prerunner models with no modifications regardless if you’re running stock lower arms or a long travel kit. These do not lift the truck or widen it since it’s built around the factory specs. For you 2wd owners, our 4.0 spindles offer lift and an increase in track width. They do remove the provision for the front sway-bar so it will need to be removed. Strength, performance, and articulation was the main focus on a product like this and having 2.5 coilovers with added low-speed compression or a second shock will help to control body roll. They weren’t willing to compromise the integrity of the spindle for the serious off-roaders.

Using the latest Faro scanning technology and Solidworks CAD/CAM modeling, Camburg builds these in house for the utmost control. They start with steel billets that get heavily CNC machined for weight reduction and precision, MIG weld the laser cut plates, then have them stress relieved, sandblasted and powder coated. Once in your hands, they are ready to be installed and come with all the necessary 12 point Grade 9 hardware. All spindles come in standard textured black powder coat.

Any word on availability of their stock length lowers that they've posted on their Instagram?

Those will go into further testing and production once the spindles are done.

I just ordered a set of these bad boys. Thank you Camburg for fabricating these! Finally an option other than weld on spindle gussets, that super heat the steel & can make the OG spindles brittle and prone to breaking. These will be great combined with my Camburg UCA's and ADS remote resis. Delivery is said to be 4 to 6 weeks out, which will give me time to get new wheel bearing hub assembly"s and prep for the install. Hopefully by the time I get them, the stock LCA's will be ready to go. YESSS!!

Welp, my spindle kit came through today, and I could not be more impressed! Pictures do not do them justice, these things are freaking legit. My spindles just went from the weak link, to an afterthought when I hit terrain at speed. Gnarly, thanx Camburg!file-2.jpg

Nice setup JordanSmith127! Pretty straight install. If you are putting the speed sensors back in, definitely IMG_6810.jpg install while the spindles are on the work bench!

    Bump for the next guy:

I had to install that nut before installing the tie rod nut and lca bolts.
That way I could rotate the spindle out-facing, and access the uca nut with a closed end wrench.
Bracing the spindle against the shock to keep it from rotating, using my knee and free hand, I was able torque it down.
I also used a 2nd wrench as an extension on the 21mm, for a bit more leverage.

Disclaimer- I am not a mechanic, and this was just what I did. Do this at your own risk!
