I just picked up a 18 Tacoma , I’m wondering what would look better in the truck between the predator steps or the black oval tube steps .

Most people will say "get sliders". IMO those look the best, but of the two options you listed I'd say the predator steps

It depends on where you drive it. Predator steps are nice looking, but sliders are best for protection offroad.

Predator steps will get the step ripped off. I’d prefer tube steps or nerf bars out of the two. But sliders are the way to go.

I like N-Fabs myself but I have Predators on my Tacoma. I don’t do any kind of Off Roading to need sliders.

This. I've hung up off road a couple of times because of the steps hanging down.

What’s your true preference, form or function? If it’s for form, aka “looks good”, you’ll get several biased opinions on this forum and therefore you may wish to select your personal preference. If you’re looking for function, avoid the predator steps as others have indicated, they will only be damaged when off roading and certainly will NOT llook good” after a few drag and rip events occur (YouTube is full of OR videos demonstrating actual such destruction).

Are you going for looks? Functionality? Does someone need a step up to get into the truck?

Predator steps should make it easier to get in than the tube steps I would think.

Naw, I get in my truck like getting on a horse; left foot up on the tube bar and then rise and put the right leg in, then swing my butt over and down on the seat. Less seat upholstery wear and tear that way too.

Sliders will get your dresspant cuffs dirty when you step out if you’re a office pansy though...

0 degree sliders with fill plates look good and can be used as steps
