So, All Pro is doing a Group Buy right now. Check it out. 10% off the skid (it's really a group buy for the front bumper, but the skiddies are included for IFS).

I know this thread has been dead for awhile.. but I make front skids and would be willing to work out a group buy if you guys are interested. I can either cut out a basic design like the ones shown or leave it solid for the more hardcore wheelers. You can see more pics in my sig. Just let me know!

Wow, something happened where none of those posts showed up on my user CP. I'm still making these if you guys are interested. Shoot me a pm or post on here. I'm setting up a shop and need funds so I am more than happy to make some of these. In fact I'm doing some 1st gens this week and could throw em in with that batch if you catch me fast enough. If not, I can get a batch put in next week.

You have specs them? Aluminum/ steel? I do very little offroading and want something more for looks honestly. Are these just for 1st gens or can you do 2nd gens also? You may have said and I missed it.

Edit: This is more for Metalmiller since he's the one making them.....

I'm interested. Do you have any pics? I'm looking for a silver skid plate and, like the poster above, I don't care too much for reliability. But it would be nice if it's stronger that Toyota's skid plate...

EDIT: found the pics on page 3

These are made of 3/16 steel plate. They will take one hell of a beating. The pics that are posted in these threads are for the 2nd gens. My first gen design is a 1 piece that replaces both stock skids. This particular design for 2 gens replaces the stock front skid. And for the guys that want the looks, I can do custom designs. The basic skids are cut with a high def plasma torch, the detailed designs are cut on a waterjet. All of them are CNC bent on our beast mode 400 ton pressbrake.

Finishing options: I can ship them bare or have them powdercoated in any basic color for 50 bucks. If it's for looks, the powdercoat is a great choice, if you are going to wheel it, I'd recommend getting it bare and using a good rattle can since you'll be tearing up the finish anyways.

You can see a bunch more pics on my website: http://www.metalmiller.com/

Check out the user submitted photos on the home page to see some skids in action.

Hit me up with any more questions you have!
