This is true but to me it just doesn't fit the quality of the rest of the build since you can see through it. If they just had a frosted, lightly tinted style diffuser IMO it would look better. Similar to Meso's headlights. You can barely see the DRL or halos unless they are on. Dont get me wrong, great headlight and many people are going to like it the way it is.

 

True. Same as the Raptor Taillights. I have no doubt @mesojdm will come up with something amazing.

 

We're not going to change thousands of dollars in engineering and tooling based on an aftermarket build. You can always customize them after the fact, though!

Gawd those domestics have some big ugly headlights. I'm surprised they get away with them in California seeing as they are mostly lifted and past 54".

 

So the lifted trucks in Cali have their headlights higher than 4 and a half feet off the ground?

Wow they look great. Just one question is the lens tinted or clear hard to tell from that angle

 

Clear. Tinted drops output dramatically (50% or more)

 

Spent the morning at The Retrofit Source in Atlanta. The guys did a great job test fitting the preproduction lights on my Tacoma. Will definitely be adding a pair once they’re released.

 

@rgatlin76 what did you think of light output and quality of the overall build?

 

They were BRIGHT. And while the gaps were a little larger than OEM, I wouldn’t have noticed without measuring. I’m sure the production units will be in line with OEM or better.

 

@rgatlin76 any other impressions? I’m definetly going to be buying, did they mention anything else?
