If you can pay $500/month car payment the. Having a $7k or less down payment shouldn’t be hard to obtain. If it is, priorities are wrong

Are u saying the people like sitting in traffic or they don't? My brain has done enough functioning for the day after labs and lectures.
Where I'm from, it's cheap to live, and there's no such thing as traffic.

Analytical labs were super cool, the course was dry. Phys chem is awesome (except thermodynamic, fuck thermo) Quantum is a real mind bender and the adv quantum and statistical mechanics courses are awesome. Although, my favorite branch is inorganic and i work in a green chemist lab, so i'm all over the place lol. There were so many times in my undergrad i was tempted to swap to process engineering, but i suffered it out

Bet wages aren’t that great if no one lives there and it’s cheap.....

I've also learned that the professor themselves make a huge difference in the amount of suffering. So far, ratemyprofessor has been my best friend.

7k down on what? A house? Without some kind of special loan, 7k won’t even cut it here.

That’s usually how it goes. Low wages here but high cost housing.

Depends on what you do. I plan on having a dentist office so I should be fine. A bunch of my friend's parents work from home and make good money. It's just a smaller set of jobs that pay well in my area.

Yep its true, I found the bad professors taught first year and the good ones taught the higher level courses. I haven't had a prof in chem i didn't like since 1st year

Don't know the average wage never earned less. earn plenty to live in the likes of Kalifornia or NYC but do not want the hassle of traffic and policies.

So far all of my chem professors have been good. My current one is a little hard to follow but he knows his stuff and makes it relatable. My lab professor this semester is also great which is a huge plus. Also, I'm taking the lab with my girlfriend (she's doing pre-pharmacy), so it's much easier to work with a partner you are already comfortable with.
Last semester, I was in a lab for only chem majors, and we were forced to work with someone different each time. Sometimes it was okay but they're were also times where I did everything myself and didn't say a word. I swear one guy didn't know any basic chemistry nor what deodorant was.

Unless he actually means deposit? $7000 deposit would be generally OK for a condo around $150-200k, but then you have to step it up some more before you get to the deposit line. 10% down is ok with extra expensive mortgage insurance. 20% is the real threshold.
