    Thanks

    The part I ordered was:
00016-32901 Southeast Toyota Keyless Entry System. I think that the new part number ends in 32912.
Try McDonough Toyota; they are very helpful - i think they had them for $116.
Below is a scan of the 1st page of the instructions. The entire pdf is like 26 pages.

btw, the ebay one posted above by classicvw looks like the same one i got.

One thing you should know is that if you want to swap out the remote fob cover for cool colored ones that are made by someone on here, they will not fit because the push button switches are off-set (the cool ones are in the middle).

So your original keys work without purchasing anything else besides that unit? What year is your Taco?

Also, the two remotes have to be programmed using the toggle switch individually per instruction?

5465, please take good notes during the install. I am holding back the purchase on this for several weeks. Just spent too much recently (tow hitch, coverking covers, etc). What year is your Taco?

I noticed a lot of the SR had the remote keyless. The Taco that I wanted had the SX but not the SR :(.

SR is weird that way. Heated outside mirrors but no keyless entry, intermittent wipers or height adjustable seat.

The one cool thing about the SR is that most of these "issues" can be solved because the truck is pre-wired for them. I added cruise control and intermittent wipers immediately.. bought most of the parts from TLS auto recycling. They had a 17 Tacoma and a 17 Camry that I bought parts off of. Now I have cruise, intermittent wipers and keyless entry for about $250 and a Saturday afternoons worth of work

So far that hasn't bothered me too much. The heavy rains in FL keep my wipers going at full speed. When I run out of mods to do, i might just cop a new intermittent stalk.
