If you use bedliner etc just don’t do the back mating surface where it bolts up to the truck frame as apparently this can be an issue for aligning so just primer or paint it on the mating surface.

The bull bar does not need to be lowered. We have a few customers running our bullbar with TSS and there are no issues.
Yes some people use rhino liner or other bedliners of some sort. It does tend to hold up to rock chips and road grime better than PC, but personally I still like the look of PC better. Its all personal preference.

Yes that is correct, thanks for posting up the tips!

Hi Caleb, does the bullbar interfere with 2018 radar sensor in the grill?

That looks perfect @Ace789 ! Can you confirm no issues with the bull bar and TSS?

Which Warn winch did you go with?

No issues with the bull bar and the TSS. However, I have an occasional issue with the auto headlights recognizing whether it’s day or night.

I went with the Warn VR10. The center grill support on the truck had to be trimmed so the control box on the winch wouldn’t rub.

I mounted my VR 10 today and I have to relocate the control box. the CBI bumper has the winch in a place where there would be way too much trimming from the grill support. now searching for the relocation bracket online.

You are welcome, looks great! Glad everything went well and your TSS still functions normally.

We have no plans to offer an aluminum one.

Hey guys we have confirmed from multiple customers that the bull bar DOES NOT interfere with TSS functionality. The description of the product on our website reflects that info now.

The bumper can be Rhino lined, we have had multiple customers do it. Personally its not a look that I like, but it is more durable than PC. I would recommend making sure they do not coat the mounting plates where the bumper bolts to the frame of the Tacoma. The thick Rhino lining can affect fitment.

Do you guys plan on doing the high clearance wings like you did on the 4Runner low pro?

So I ordered this bumper, and it will be showing up end of March, beginning of April if things stay on schedule. I was also considering installing a front camera and always on switch for wheeling or just ease of parking. Wondering if anyone who has one already installed, or maybe C4 has any thoughts/ideas on a good place to mount the camera. Don't want it to have the bull bar be in the way of the shot or interfere with the light bar or winch that will ben installed.

    Just washed
Finally got my bumper in recently and finished the install the other day. I know others have reported the bull bar and TSS is a non issue which is also reflected on the product page but I guess im just the lucky one. My TSS errors out mins later after hitting the road and at times the error intermittingly goes away then comes back but majority of the time the error stays on. If anyone has had similar situation and somehow was able to correct the issue, please let me know. Love how my truck looks now but be great to get rid of the TSS error.
