haha well its just 1.) its a diesel, a toyota diesel. 2.) As top gear has proven, hilux's are pretty much indestructible :p 3.) You kinda stand out when everyone arround you has tacomas' and you have a hilux. 4.) Alot of tacomas here in the local dealerships arent manual, its hard finding a Access Cab or even a Crew Cab with a manual transmission, while regular cabs are plenty with those. and lastly, the Hilux just looks soooo much better than a tacoma!

As far as LHD, Is right hand drive really that different of a drive? lol

Check again. The price on the main page is in US$. When you change it to Yen it comes in at

It is a mistake. Look at any website that ships stuff to the US and many times they will post price in local currency instead of the US price that the site asks for. You can tell by comparing conversion rates to see if it is a mistake. Conversion rate from Yen to US matches liked price vehicles.

Lol yeah, in my area, i hardly ever see a manual anything from toyota.

If i look for used vehicles i occassionally see the manual FJ cruiser and tacoma, but often times for the tacoma its the base model. Ive only seen 1 access cab, and never seen a crew cab with a manual.

Man, I would love to import a Landcruiser prado. The u.s doesn't get anything with manuals, every dealership around has one manual trans tacoma, if that, it really sucks.

If you're really serious about importing one, try getting it from the Philippines. They have lots of Hi-Lux's there and they're LHD but you're intsruments will be in km like the rest of the world.
