Would have to have truck stereo set to AUX input all the time when using CB.

Benefit of standalone speaker for CB is it will only make noise when speaker does.
No effect on trail tunes.

If you stream music off Pandora or Iheart then tunes wouldn't matter cause there was no cell service out there unless your a cd junky and have a binder full of cds

 

In are school busses they run an external speaker and mount it to bottom left side of the dash cause the cb behind the seat

 

He Served in Iraq and Afg in special forces so I would say that is a Big Yes.

Just currious but what kinda training did you go through to prepare yourselves for the weather cause wearing 80 pounds of gear in 120 degree weather must of been hell on Earth
