if he is dealing it will all work out in the end as it has been said he might prove to be a very reliable neighbor wait it out a bit and see what unfolds my police in my neighborhood put out on the police band the fact I called on a noise violation and knew my neighbor was an ex-cop and monitored the radio needless to say it was fun it all depends how bright the dispatch is not the cop on patrol

yeah, i've never met a dick weed dealer, but if he's dealing harder stuff i'd be concerned

i dont blame you about not being happy about the late night visit. from everything you've said, it does sound like he is most likely dealing. but what if he isn't? this post is the exact reason i am looking for houses, only outside of neighborhoods. neighbors are nosy and nothing but trouble. for example, i am not a weed dealer and have never sold a gram of weed in my life, but i'm pretty sure my neighbor thinks i am. i have random visitors in random vehicles all the damn time. my room mate is in VA for a year or two on assignment. he pays my friends to do stuff for him while he's away. he has multiple cars and one buddy is fixing htem up and taking them to headliner shops and all that to get them ready for selling. he comes over once a week, for about 5 minutes then leaves. another buddy came by to pick up some motorcycle parts. i have friends come by and drop stuff off and pick stuff up all the time (movies video games etc...) so as far as appearances go, it looks like i'm a pretty active seller, even though i'm not. and if the cops busted in on me looking for a huge stash of drugs and i knew it was because of my neighbor, i would wage never ending war on whoever i thought it was until they moved out. i know you're almost certain he's selling, but you never know what is going on over there. unless he gives you any trouble i'd leave it alone.

You could ask for the police to patorl your area/street more often. That would make the guy and his "customers" nervous. Which would slow down things and might even get the cops attention.

wow there's alot of bad advice in this thread. whatever you decide to do, for now (and the next few months to a year) i'd just observe and document. later on you'll have a better idea of whats going on and some concrete (or not) evidence for the cops if you decide to go to them.

+1 on selling stuff on craigslist. I wouldn't get into trouble unless they're causing trouble.

Do what a buddy of mine does, trim your hedges in a pair of running shorts with a machete, while listening to some norwegian black metal. Then carry your guns out and start cleaning them while glaring with one eye at his house. If that doesnt freak them out, then, shit, I'm out of ideas...

i would also say don't worry about it unless it gets out of hand, i have multiple friends who deal herband they are friendly, quiet and keep to themselves because they don't want to get caught. 2 of my friends stopped because they had cars always out front, so you never know it might just stop on its own. I would be a little sketched out about hard drugs though, stoners are lazy, crackheads are fucked
