Yeah, there is a place called Ponce Inlet where you get pretty decent waves. You can drive on the beach to get there, and it gets you away from the tourists. Waves are usually around 4 feet with some breaking about shoulder high.

How consistent were they? Over here you can pretty much always find something to surf every day

Never had a problem finding waves at the inlet. You might wait a couple of sets to find the one you really want, but not too long.

There's a lot of surfers there and people fishing from off the jetties. They will chum the waters for fish, so combine that with people already in the water, it's not a good mix.

Thanks for the advice on the Lexus everyone, that guy stopped responding to my texts unfortunately. Found a nice TL in Charlotte, but still searching at the moment and weighing options.

Well, the driver side hub assembly has started to whine. I’m taking her to the dealership tomorrow to get it replaced, along with a new CV axle seal that has started to leak (it was the one the dealership replaced), and get my camber bolt looked at since I’ve been told it’s seized. Luckily this time I recognized the bearing whining noise and (hopefully) won’t have to replace everything else in the front end. All I have to do is get her there tomorrow morning after work.
