I just picked up a used leer 100xl and want to hoot up the brake like. I was planning on just running the red wire to the brake light and ground the black (right?) but this is what came in the leer already installed. What do I need to do to make this work?

Those bottom wires are actually the same wires from the top and just run behind the box. There are not actually wires coming out from the bottom.
    Thanks.

Apparently this is what I have and AM missing the bottom connector and wiring.

So I guess my new question is: Which one of the green wires in the brake like to I splice the red wire to. Black gets grounded. What did I do with white with red strip wire?

I’ll be doing this later today or tomorrow. I’ll take a pic and explain it.

Awesome, I took my tail light off rear quick to just see if it was going to be a 1 min job but then I noticed more wires going to the brake bulb then in earlier pics i saw and had a bday to get to so I put it off to do more research.
    Thanks!

I used a T tap to tap into the DS brake light + wire (green with red stripe)
I ran out of T taps so I grounded the black wire with a self tapper.

Thanks. Called my local dealer and they have the bottom harness that I need for $13 as opposed to $29 shipped online. I know I can just bypass the box and hard wire the lights but if the box with the fuse is already there I might as well use it. Thanks for the diagram!

Get them at any auto parts store. Read below.

I absolutely agree with this. This is an unimportant wire connection so I wasn’t too concerned.
