Sony for video. There is no way I could hold the camera this steady without the built in 3axis gimbal. The only shake was when someone would bump into me.

I recommend watching in full size and make sure 4K is selected in case it isn't

    Fujifilm, here.

I've shot Nikon for years, dabbles with Canon, Sony a bit, even micro 4/3 cameras, and Fujifilm has been bar none the best system for me. Best lenses, best balance of features and size. By far undisputably the best firmware upgrades and connection with the customers. I don't see a single upside for my uses to any other system currently. That's only for personal uses and personal taste. Not meant as objective fact but as subjective opinion based on some facts :D cheers.

Truth of the matter is we're all using Sony no matter the camera brand. :anonymous:

Or at least most of us.

We all love our own brand, but honestly, the brand we like best is any one that produces beautiful photos.

Oh you can get amazing photos with any brand camera, 100%. It's all about which one gets out of your way personally and lets you enjoy doing so :)

Arlington National Cemetery was one of my favorite places in DC. I truly consider you are walking on hallowed ground. With the playing of Taps... If that doesn't bring a tear to your eye then there is something wrong with your soul in my opinion.

Again... It's better if you watch the full screen version in 4K

I’ve always found Canon glass to be superior to Nikon. either way it’s all top quality stuff. A friend of mine shoots Nikon professionally and has been saying a bunch of the new Sigma ART series lenses shit on his Nikon N’s but wishes he had Canon L’s lol

I don’t think in terms of imaging one is better than the other really it just comes down to preference. Especially with the prosumer models ie. 7D/5D/1D or D750/D850/D5 there’s barely any competition anymore they’re always neck and neck for the most part.

My entry. The best I could do. This is a .005" micro-drill.

There was a back n forth between tooling suppliers a while back were the one group was bragging about how they were able to grind a small micro drill and sent it a competitor in Japan. The Japanese supplier sent back a smaller one. So not to be outdone the original supplier was able to grind a smaller drill and sent it once again to the Japanese supplier.

This time instead of sending back a smaller drill they sent back the micro drill with a hole through it lengthwise and basically turned it into through spindle coolant drill.

I don't keep up with micro-drill infighting. This one was manufactured by Kyocera.

This. Not long ago if you wanted to get into birding and were looking for a long reach Canon was the answer. But the bodies weren't as rugged as the Nikon's for handling extreme weather and temperature conditions. Today they have kind of both converged to the center and are equal IMO. Canon will still build you a custom lens if you have the money. Seen a few used 1200mm Canon lenses from time to time for sale. At close to $200K not sure what a custom costs LOL. On the river shooting Eagles still see mainly Canon for long reach lenses above the standard grade consumer cameras.

I went with Pentax at the time because overseas they were the ones that I have seen used in the worst weather and environmental conditions. But Canon and Nikon have both converged to that point also lately.

Macro I think snowflakes, they are a challenge to shoot. A PITA most times but I like the challenge. At the beginning of the week no snow in the forecast. Woke up this morning and it was snowing. Looked all over and couldn't find my $600 100mm Macro lens. Any where. Supposed to snow 3-5" starting noon tomorrow. I'll find that damn lens yet. After I shovel the snow out of the driveway.

That's where I'm at, preference. Been shooting Canon my entire life, and I'm staying loyal :)

This afternoon when I got home, parked the truck and upon exiting, I saw the evening sunlight highlight this moss on the tree next to my driveway.

Nice. Green... Green with envy right now!

4" and climbing. Held steady at 12° all day. Nothing but needles, solid plates and prisms. It is a "dry" snow.

A few sectored plates but no Dendrites. Did I mention snowflakes are a PITA? I will get to run billions of them through the snowblower sometime tomorrow.

Green is looking pretty good to me
