What's wrong with new country? Even country artists have been getting on people for shitting on people for trying to tell people what's country or not. Just saying. All country styles have a place.

 

Big fan of some new country. Luke Combs, Whiskey Myers, Tyler Farr are some of my after 2010 favorites. I just can't do the overly poppy stuff, just doesn't strike me as country personally. Respect it's existence though, even if it makes my ears bleed.

 

I get it. Don't fully agree, but I get it.

 

I dont like tractor rap, it is not country, just like mumble rap is not rap.

 

I literally have a mental list of people I have banished from aux privilege in my truck for playing mumble rap.

Yup, most of my friends in NOVA usually don't appreciate country/hard rock as much as I do. Whenever I let someone else on aux, I just sneak the volume down one bar with the steering wheel every five seconds until it's muted.

My friends outside of NOVA know every song I play though, hah.

I have found myself listening to classical the last week or so when the work truck doesn't pick the ipod back up. Something different and kinda realxing to a point.
