Good luck with that shit. Might be easier to sell your front IFS skid and just get a set from another manufacturer.

I saw someone on here offering Pelfrey skids locally... which is the only reason why I posted and am in contact with someone else who had the midskid.

But yes I completely agree with you

Hope it works out man, PFB stuff is getting harder and harder to find as not many have a reason to let theirs go. I got their gas skid and am glad I scooped it two months before the shit show.

Thanks brother. I went all in on Pelfrey a year or two back. Met all of them and had them install all my armor themselves. Sucks how things turned out. Sucks more for their customers who got screwed

Weird thing is they randomly sent me a T-shirt in early August before all this went down. That was extra weird

It may fit but it doesn't fit. haha.
For example, I have a 2nd gen TRD skid plate that bolts up but the design has it cutting into my front bumper. PS. I have a 2nd gen TRD skid plate for sale haha.

I'm saying the stock skids are literally the same part number, directly from Toyota's parts catalog.

I have the front and mid already and very happy with them.

OK, folks. DO you remember my 97 2wd 4Runner SR5? Well the friend I sold it to, had the driver lower ball joint go out. The shop she took it to, wants $3k+ to fix it. So she is thinking about just selling it as is. The shop offered her $400 ($100 for what's she owes for looking at it and $300 cash). She is recently divorced and single mom of a 17 year old girl, this is/was their only means of transportation. So, anyone in a position and want to buy it to part it out or rebuild it themselves? You can get it cheap, you just have to pick it up from 35th Ave and Thunderbird. She just had the transmission worked on and I had put new JBA uppers and shocks on it. Has the tundra brake mod. 3.4l with ~250k miles on it.

Reach out to me if interested and we can work out a deal. Clean title

3k to fix a ball joint? Maybe the better option would be to have a mod day and fix the truck?

    That's what I am thinking.

Just got a copy of the quote. $1,200 for new Rack & Pinion & lower control arm. Plus $1,200 in labor. The shop said they might have to do shocks and upper ball joint too.

From the pic I just got, it just needs a new ball joint. Sure the rack has 250k miles and has some horsepower sweat, but it doesn't need changing.

I am working on arranging a car trailer to get it back to her house, one way other the other, I am not let this shop doing anything else with it. Once It is somewhere I can look at it better, we can put an action plan together,
