But it transfers the force to you (whiplash) inside rather than the bumper accepting (crumple) the damage (energy/force), plain and simple physics.

    Its true...

Too bad we cant make vehicles as indestructible as we did in the early days without sacrificing our survival/injury percentage

Yes it is. Friend got a smashed back window and all they took was a rubbish bag filled with dirty laundry.

Negative. The energy is transferred to the frame and they're still designed with a crumple zone. So in one respect you are correct. Plain and simple physics.

If I had the job of insurance policy writer I would have taken the opposite stance and raised rates by a fat margin. That's because I'd be less worried about what front end mods do to your truck in a collision, and much more worried about the increase in medical payout for whoever you just hit.

But that's also exactly why I didn't take the career path of insurance writing, because then I'd have noone to talk to at parties.

I think it was stolen from a rental car lot and just abandoned there. There were weird stickers. Door window and windshield had them

When my daughter was 3 she washed my brand new WRX for me... still with the dealer plates on I’m scratching my head wondering where she got water.
Yep. It was a bucket full of rocks and she managed to get from the front fender to the fuel cap.

It’s okay to cry as a grown man. Just sayin.

The ARB plate bumper is one of the few that is designed to work with the airbag sensors so that they still function as they would stock.

As for pedestrians, if someone is dumb enough to run out in front of me then that's their problem. A well designed bumper mounted correctly will do more to help minimize damage to your truck in an impact rather than make it worse
