You can refill the 1lb bottles from a 20lb tank. My plan if I ever decide to fill my 20lb tank...

I often run into my tank freezing so having more than one 1lb tank on hand is nice. Not sure if I'd want to rely on only having a single source.

I went through the D style bushing with my old rack in a few thousand miles. I'm hoping it's because the rack was pitted under the bushing. I contemplating welding two flanges to the housing to keep the movement to a minimum. We'll see if the new rack and bushings holds up better.

You can get an adapter to use propane. I like these stoves because they're built like a tank.

If you're on a trail with camber and mud/snow your ass end is going to want to follow the fall line. I'd prefer an auto locker in the front with the ability to control the ADD. If you're worried about reliability, converting to cable is about as simple as it gets. I'm sure you could also find an actuator at a junkyard for cheap also.

Hadn't thought about that, that's a good point and valid argument against imo

It gets frustrating especially when using cast iron, very inefficient for maintaining heat.

Did this Saturday but only getting to it now. Installed a Sony XAV AX100 deck into my truck. Didn't get to the backup cam yet but boy did this bring new life to the stock speakers. I can't wait to install new speakers to see how much better it will sound!

Stuff and things that make it better.
This should be installed tomorrow for this weekend's purposes, just incase it gets slushy. My suggestion is to call in sick and stop on by...

I bought the 6 pound (1.5 gallon iirc) Worthington aluminum tank so it sits underneath my bed platform and lasts me for multi months at a time for my needs. Kinda expensive but I am happy with it.

They also have ones you can legally fill yourself. Canister itself is cheap, kit with all the adapters and valves to refill from your larger tanks is like $30 more.

Those ones I will be buying at Sportsbasement, A local sporting good store, and they refill them for free.

...And then it was my turn. Having watched the two guys in front of me, I picked my line and watched my speed. Halfway across, I could feel the water rushing down the wash, the truck slipping ever-so-slightly downstream as it fought for traction. And then, I was out!

This was perhaps the dumbest thing we'd done all trip.

Even then, I thought the 5 lb one was expensive at $60, considering you can get a 20lb one for $20
