Why do you think I do everything 3 times? The first two times I'm too drunk to do them correctly. :drunk:

Anyone in the Bay Area know of a beater commute car for sale. My buddies daughter needs a car but since she wrecked the last one he’s looking for a beater now.

I seem to recall a IKZ diesel swapped 1st gen that had AWD capability. I think the front clip he got was JDM so it had the front drive shaft on the right side. In order to have in on the left side he got a transfer case from Mayalasia and it happened to have AWD.

I thought it was interesting that he took a torsen diff from the rear end of an FRS and tossed it in a Tacoma front diff.

Edit: just adding to jberrys comment.
I never had any issues using mine towing the boat. I have installed to flip up. So it's still visible if your along side me, but with a 20ft boat behind me I don't think there looking at my plates on the truck.

    stuff
I’ll sell my 05 Honda CRV for cheapo. Needs front suspension (moog kit $120), tires, battery, and has 260somethinK. May have catalytic converter inefficiencies but if you time it around the right 53 mile stretch, she’ll still smog ;) You said beater, right?!?

Edit- can fit 12 knee scooters plus parts, or 4 scooters and my 10’ longboard inside. Plus it has minimal skeet

well. we officially moved into the new house yesterday. started unpacking right away. have MOST of the stuff unpacked already. we realized that we have ALOT of stuff to buy for the house :/ going from a 2 bedroom apartment (1 room was basically all storage) to a 3 bed 2.5 bath house will make you realize how little you have to fill a house haha.

and good news! the truck fits in the garage! still got some stuff to move out of there but it fits :) the camp trailer is way too tall though, even after airing down all the way (i had to try so i could see if i'd be able to work on it INSIDE the garage lol)

now i have to figure out why my driver side headlight keeps going out... every time i start it up, the headlight is out. i pop the hood, wiggle my hand around the wiring behind it a bit, and it lights right back up. havent had the time to really get in there and check it out. definitely need to in the morning though. dont want my girl driving after work tomorrow with a headlight out.

Can you let me know how this goes? I've read alot about this, but now see that ARB does say they do work with 2015. I got talked out of an OME setup because their rear shocks "were not compatible". If you grind a bit can you take some pics. I'm obsessing over getting my procomp off for some reason. OME might do the trick for me for the next round of suspension. It would scratch my suspension itch and let me focus on other taco itches.

any advice from anyone not to go OME for now? I'm just learning and I can work my way up to the all mighty kings. I don't deserve them yet, need to put in the hours working on my truck and two pedaling to earn them.
    :curls:
