Ours was built 3 months ago, so it's really nice, and clean.

 

We THOUGHT ours was "busy". Parking lot full....Come to find out they're just ridiculously slow and the few customers they had were there for long periods of time, waiting on their order. Servers were congregating at the podium. They were talking about everything BUT waiting on customers. Food was slow. We figured that out...They had to wait until cooked food got cold enough to take to tables where it was ordered.

Needless to say, I won't be back again.

 

Surface rust after one season. Shitty photo but this is looking from the left rear tire forward at the breather.

My 10 year old diffs don't have that much rust.

 

@lynyrd3, my frame is starting to accumulate surface rust on the driver side, and front skid area. I was thinking of sanding it, and Fluid Filming the shit out of the rusty spots.

Very little rust visible in the picture here, it's mostly dried mud. I'm wondering if my trucks frame was ever replaced cause it has a sticker with the letter "G" on it, and a barcode on the rear diff. I doubt those could last 10 years.

 

Your 10 year old diffs aren't subjected to the same environmental/chemical circumstances mine are. If my truck is spotless and it snows and I drive to work, this is how it looks when I get there:






That's all road salt/brine spray. From one trip into work. As soon as winter is over and I can get to it, I will be painting all these rusted spots and then will use Fluid Film to coat the truck yearly.

 

My truck has lived in the SA area all of it's life. Still need to fix the ugly rusted skid plate.

 

Hmmmm, more pictures would be good . Your 2008 like me has your truck spent it’s life in Texas or your not sure ?

 

Yes sir. Was bought at Red McComb's Toyota in SA. We bought it from a dude who sells cars in Dallas, but it has a "Wash Tub" sticker on it, which is a car wash franchise in SA.

 

Ughhhh , that salt shit is terrible . It’s the same here , one trip a few miles down the road and it’s covered
