What's up in Austin?

Hey guys,

One of my buddy's is going to have his bachelor's party in Austin. He's from NJ.

I don't travel much so I'm not too familiar why he chose this region.

I didn't want to question this vs say Vegas so I'm hoping you guys can chime in.

It would be next month so the weather would seem still on the cold side. I kind of sorta thought possibly I'd do a road trip instead vs flying if my HardShellTaco would be welcome in the Lone Star state.

A little strange a NJ guy would out of the blue say lets have it in Austin. That said there is a pretty active night live in Austin. Music, bars, BBQ. The city is built around The University of Texas so there's a lot of young folks partying and doing the things they do.

Your Tacoma will be more than welcome. Even if it has some mud on it.

 

Ya. They were considering Iceland then it came down to Austin. I'm guessing because it's central for the guys from SoCal like me and them being on the east coast .

I might be headed out to Austin next month also. Wondering the same!

 

ATX is a great city the yota community is a bunch of laid back people. We like to shoot, drink an eat, an wheel. There is always a cars an coffee event once a month an usually something else going on.

I had my bachelor party at a disc golf country club in San Marcos with some bros.

Of course it will be welcome here!

Out of curiosity, does he have a venue or anything picked out or yall just coming down to go ham?

 

Target date seems to be the weekend of 23-24 but I think they're getting a head count who's going. I'm not sure if I want to drive as I never traveled that long of a distance.

His bro is doing everything and it seems generic so far like eat, drink and be merry. lol.
