    I appreciate that bud.
    All part of life right.
    Could always be worse!
Recent story local here a 2-1/2 yr old girl went outside at night and couldn’t get back in temps 0 and below.
    That’s sad.

    Hey Tyler,
    We are doing ok.
Still tough without the old man.
We’ve gotten some pretty crappy winter weather this year.
Mom wanted out like 3 weeks ago due to snow.
I’d thought she would get the fact that dad had time to keep up with snow and I don’t.
So even having someone plow I still have to go and play with dads toys to keep her comfortable being there.
The tractor I enjoy knowing dads watching and grinning.
But mom always sheds a few tears watching.
I miss him and think about him a lot!
But when I’m not thinking of dad I’m worried about mom!
But yes we are doing ok.
Brothers wife has been in the hospital for the last month.
    Her appendix burst.
I should feel worse but they hadn’t seen or spoken to mom or dad for along time then shows up and talks shit about him when he’s gone.
I lost my chit on him told him he could just go back to what he was doing before.
I said moms not cutting you out of will even though dad had mentioned it.
Plus he could have my share if he would.
Dad was an amazing father and mom is an amazing mom.
I am very fortunate and proud to have had such good parents.

    Thanks for asking.
I think I needed to vent.
I don’t like showing weakness or asking for help.
I am just like him and I am proud of it.

Aawwww damm thanks again I feel better!
I enjoy talking about him as everyone can see.

Can’t say enough about the family I’ve found here on TW.
Good people are hard to find!
I’ve found lots of them here!

The taco has been amazing 50 miles each way to moms in bad weather.

    Thank you everyone!
    Jeff

Lol just looked at how long my post was. Sorry.
    I’m a machinist I don’t type.

Don't feel badly about posting here. When I saw Larry's post, it hit me funny, because for some reason, just that day I too, was wondering how you were doing.
Hang in there, Jeff. I'm glad you didn't take their shit and let them have it. I'm sure the winter is making the 50 mile trips back and forth more of a pain, maybe come spring it'll feel easier. Back a couple decades, my parents moved 65 miles away and it was hard getting out there sometimes with my small kids and both my wife and I working all different shifts. Luckily, my sister was right down the road from them.

    Hey Jay,
    Thanks bud.
I know I should let it go but he’s such an idiot. He’s lived in glass houses so long.
Dad was always down to earth as I feel I am also.
I don’t want to go to his level and don’t wish bad chit on anyone,
All I can think is karmas a bitch?

Meh, let him throw stones in that glass house. You dont have to live there, but it is good that you dont let them manipulate your mom in to stupid decisions.
I have plenty of idiot siblings and the only thing I do is sit back and enjoy my popcorn.

I lost my dad 18 years ago. We were close and to this day I still miss him. I remember a friend of mine told me right after my dad died that he lost his father a few years earlier and he said how he wished there could have been one more day with him. That stuck with me for some reason. Reading what you said made me remember. God bless.

    Hey George,
Yea it’s a bit for me but it makes mom feel more comfortable so I’m willing and happy to do it.
Mom and I were discussing just what you said today after I spent 2 1/2 hrs scrapping the driveway and moving snow banks.
When she wanted out I suggested she go look at a condo or something like it.
Now she’s thinking she is doing ok at home.
She likes her yard and flowers and gardens. They have deer and birds and other wildlife that she enjoys very much.
I agree with you I need to get her through this winter so she she can enjoy the summer!
They have a gorgeous place awesome views and land with toys.
    Thanks again
Wasn’t sure what I was in for posting that 1st post!
    You are all awesome!
