I woke up this morning walked through the garage and was like “oh. My Tacoma’s gone. Interesting”

Rip $125 for a “diagnosis” oh well

Only one problem, truck isn’t charging. New alternator which is a lot stronger than the old one. Still runs and drives off the battery just dies once the battery dies

 

Harbor freight multimeter kicked the bucket gonna pick one up on my way home from class. 18 hours and a full time job just not a lot of time to fuck with the truck during the week

 

Is the grounding strap connected to the frame so electricity will flow from alternator to battery?

I've got the ato mount. Pretty sure they're out of business now or got bought out. Isnt the best design.

 

Feck. The job I really wanted just emailed me and told me I wasnt selected.

 

I would call or email and ask what was the deciding factors and what you could do to improve your chances next time.

I know a few of the managers. 99% sure the only reason I didn't get it was my lack of a degree. They told me they took a chance hiring a guy in his last semester for the position last time and it was super inconvenient.

These jobs open up about once every 4 years.

 

Well now you will have your degree. So ask them to hold your application for further consideration.

 

Unfortunately it's not a position that can wait for 4 more months.

 

Then reapply and keep calling them once a month to check in. Wear them down.
