Talking about Engineers on how precise everything must be then you'll get a laugh out of this !!!

When I hang a picture or multiple pictures on a wall I go full out engineer status . My tools are painters blue tape ,tape measure , yard stick, bubble level and pen

If a large single picture( held by 2 hooks) is on a wall I measure the wall to find center and mark this location with a pen mark . Next knowing the height I want I measure and mark the wall . Now the next step I will then measure again off of these two points and with the blue tape place piece of this tape to make visual line

Off of this piece of tape would be the center mark and then two vertical pieces of tape measured and placed on the wall showing the width of the picture . From that I would measure again finding the exact measurements for EA hook and transfer these measurements again using blue tape on the wall . After that and the measurements i felt safe enough to install the picture hooks .After hanging the picture i would che k with a level

The funny thing is it would take me up to 45 min of measuring placing the blue tape on the wall into a grid pattern before I'm satisfied to hang the pic

Dont get me started on the 25 pics in my other room it took over 2.5hrs of measuring finding center of EA pic and exact measured distance between them . Again I used a grid pattern of blue tape to find exact center for ea picture


This room just to get the picture properly spaced on all 4 corners again by using blue tape to find center took over 2 hrs . You can take a tape measure or ruler and ea pic is the same measurement

got 2 stickers on windshield. oil change and state inspection. i removed both and put them on strait. couldnt stand lookin at them crooked!

I used to do exactly this. Sometimes I even cut out craft paper templates if I was doing an arrangement of pictures.

Then I discovered these French cleats. I’ll never use anything else ever again.
