Luckily I'm still on my first suspension setup. Glad I went with ADS + Deaver u402 from the get go. I'm sure I would've spent way more by now continually upgrading

 

Ill be replacing my first setup (Icons) with ADS eventually. Hoping to squeeze another year out of it.

The whole thread was relevant though, and three posts had the pics.

 

Some of multiple setups might be related the struggle between instant and delayed gratification. I'm dealing with it right now. It's going to take me a while to get the suspension and armor I want. Luckily, I already have wheels. That's one less thing I have to spend money on.

 

oh yeah, fully agree. It probably wasnt the most financially responsible thing to go with the ADS (or kings, etc) in one shot but hell, 98% of the upgrades on the truck aren't the most financially responsible choices but i wouldn't do it differently. Plus, I was able to save up some cash for a year before I pulled the trigger.

 

It was just over a year before I had enough suspension and armor on my truck before I felt I could go wheeling with y'all.

 

Neat idea, but I don't I would go for it. We already have 4 high that could be switched on the fly. Gas mileage would take a hit and I think I would rather spend that money on a front locker/upgrading the gears to 4.88 or 5.29's. Gears helps big time with that 3rd gen "retarded" tranny syndrome. Just my two cents.

 

Is it an open diff in the front?

 

That's about what I'm looking at. Just means most of my trips this year will be camping instead of wheeling.

 

are they performing well? you happy for now with all OME?

 

I've got added weight, so the 886 coils are nice, and I don't have any complaints yet. I don't see myself going LT, so this may be it for me. I will be adding the rear Nitrochargers soon (maybe this Saturday after the HC rear), so I'll report on that later.
