I think I would have been good if it had hit carpet instead of a tile floor.

 

Bought my youngest daughter a small drone a couple of years ago. We were practicing some basic hovering in the back yard. All of a sudden, without warning, it shot 100' straight up and then went 200' sideways and landed itself in the street about a block away. I heard the crunch of a car running over it about half way there to retrieve it.

 

Boo!

 

That sucks. Yeah, the crash avoidance backed the last one into a wall. I was pushing the stick forward while it was moving back. Guess when I buy myself one I'll get one that has the avoidance sensors on all sides.

My first hit was over $5000 . Wheels and tires ,coil overs , UCAs , AAL,extended brake lines and install labor . Edit : and rear shocks

 

And I went cheap to some.


Gotta add it to the cost.....freight.

Mailing winch bumpers ain't cheap.

 

First hit was shocks and coils.. 4 years ago.. less than $800.

Then cancer. 2 year gap.

More than $8000 in one day.

Wife was actually pleased. Until she saw invoices.

Can't send it back.

She'll get over it. Someday.

 

Did I mention I bought a bed rack? My wife's going to be PISSED lol.

Granted, it's second hand. But I literally could not pass it up.
