Very cool. I'm guessing most of us supercharged guys who want this software would be interested in the patch.

Going to be putting a new seal in mine this weekend. Any tips on how to get the new one to stay in there and not try to come off? I think the motor oil has slowly started to render the adhesive less effective

    @OVTune

As an owner/user of the handheld tuner, when will another tune (ver1.2?) be available? The initial tune is working great.

This is for a supercharged application.

@OVTune Do you have a ball park figure on what this tuning software will cost?

Also will all the n/a Ecu have the same tables as the supercharged.

    What I mean is
I am n/a now if I purchase the software when it’s ready will I beable to load a supercharger tune as a base. If I install a supercharger later

Also some ecu’s are not yet supported with your other software. Is this a problem with this tuning package?

    Price will be $759.00
    includes:
    OBDII Flash cable
    usb license
    Software editor / logger
dyno tune base map to start from

ECU patches will be only for SC and depends on demand.

the N/A will have all tables that are inside the N/A ecu. Some are in the SC that are not in the N/A.

There will not be any ECUs that are not supported because our software will be able to flash TSB version files. The current files that we cannot support with are tunes are the ones that require updating to a TSB verison.

You can also update to SC from N/A with i0Tech. But you cannot go back to N/A once SC

We will provide our dyno tune maps as a starting point as well.

    we have V2.0 cals available

    Sounds good, last question

If you go to a supercharger calibration, I assume you could always just detune the map with the software to go back to N/A. is this correct.

Or we could flash a supercharger calibration for the expanded tables and then retune for N/A.

Apologies if I missed it somewhere. But how would I obtain V2.0 calibrations (trd sc) for the handheld tuner? This is for 3YWG2900.

Just for clarification: the $600 handheld doesn’t get you any of this. I am getting ready to install my SC and I got the handheld tuner but it sounds like I am going to have to pay another 800 to be able to tune it or flash my ECU?

Or perhaps this is the advanced version to modify current tunes and I still get an SC tune with my handheld tuner package.

Your second statement is correct. You will still be able to flash a tune with your handheld as long as your ECU is listed and set up and you have the SC handheld.

The iotech software is a separate product from the handheld that will allow you to create your own custom tunes if you prefer that option

Thank you for the explanation. I wish I could see if my ECU was listed prior to installing everything and wasting the OV registration license if it isn’t. Is there a list on another thread that I could check?

Sweet. Only 800ish more dollars and I will be good to go!!!

But seriously, I am still waiting on my handheld tune to come back. I will probably just try to sell it and recoup some money for IOtech. I would still like to see the handheld tune, but how do I sell it then “promise” the potential owner that you will honor registering it to another vehicle without the additional $300 license fee? In the meantime, I just added about 40lbs to the top of the motor without any gains. I can send a PM.

We have never charged $300 for any license fee or any type of "license fee" for someone who gets a used handheld.
I am not even sure who this is, or what exactly you're waiting for, so please email us or something so we can get you setup. I currently do not have or see any pending handheld initial tune file emails.

Okay, the licensing fee I read about so I never verified anything like that. No issues there and appreciate the support. However, I will send another email. I sent the first one just over a week ago and sent it again today from my work email. I sent them both to orangevirus101@gmail.com.

LOL, I even had my wife put on her glasses and check the business card again. No worries, new email inbound. Thanks for the support and toleration of my sarcasm as well. The IOTech looks insane. That will be never ending learning and data for me. Is that pretty much all unrestricted. What I mean is, does that software help you save yourself from yourself at all?

Software will not save you from yourself. It's expected to have general EFI experience. But the software will come with table information so you're not going in blind.

Probably a dumb question, but if one has the S/C with the infamous bully dog tune (I understand this is a form of the TRD s/c flash), does the i0Tech support it/can overwrite it?

This has probably been answered, but I haven’t found it. With IOTech can I run bigger injectors and a larger fuel pump?
