Ive seen some different recipes, but the good ones have plain yogurt in them. The down side I could eat a whole batch myself;)

Love me some Indian food. We have an excellent spot near by that does a lunch buffet and it is hard to beat. Got me thinking about goat curry, cheese paneer and some piping hot naan.

    Possibly this?

I found it when looking for Naan Recipes before. Not sure of full differences but looked good and easy and on my "To-Do" list

I was thinking about using my cast iron grillpan to cook the naan, on the stovetop. Is the broiler really that superior?

I'm in the same boat. Wife is meh on Indian food. I always request the chef give me whatever super hot side topping they reserve for themselves. I'm not a spice head but for some reason, Indian food and their typical 5 star spice rating leaves much to be desired. Dang... now I'm craving it fierce

Id say it would be a dry heat vs a pan. but I dunno, Id think you could do it on a bbq grill also with a pizza stone.

I almost couldnt get through the video...his "inflection" whether on purpose or not was a little distracting ;) looked like a good product though.

I used to have a lot of people from India who used to work for me and one of them would always bring me in food his wife would cook for parties and stuff. Some of the best food around if you like lot's of spices (some hot some not). Blend of flavors are awesome.

We have a Thai place that is good but they only do "American" spicy. Their scale goes to a 5 but I ask for a 7 and its still not that spicy. Good flavor but Ive had some legit Thai stuff and it was spicy!

I do inspections on foreign ships. Every now and then we get an Indian crew. Those are good days, because they usually insist that we have lunch with them.

That is often the experience for me at a lot of Asian restaurants. Scale goes up to X and I'll ask for X+1 only to find out it is only kind of spicy.

There is a Korean restaurant, however, that has a scale that goes to 9. The lady asked what I wanted and I jokingly said a 10. She said that if I wanted hotter than a 9, I could do an 11, so I took that. Holy hell that was hot. It is the first time I've been genuinely humbled by a spicy meal. Not a meal with some gimmicky sauce or gratuitous use of peppers, but a dish that was just spicy through and through to the point that I was uncomfortable. I finished it, but not without blowing my nose 20 times and having an unending stream of sweat pouring from my brow. I've done all sorts of spicy challenges and this probably tops them all, only I didn't get a picture and a free shirt with this one .

Ha. yeah, my wife can't stand his voice. I like his channel though, I think I've grown to ignore it. Good simple recipes and videos to follow

We used to have a really good place near where I grew up in MI. I used to get their Hot or Thai Hot (Thai Hot wasn't on the menu). Let me tell you something man, a few times I think they went extra thai hot on me. Nose running, eyes watering, forehead sweating. SOOOO much flavor though.

One day me and a couple friends went for dinner (late teens), It was one of those extra hot times. When we were driving back I had to burp something wicked so I did guess the air vent caught it and sent it to the back. My friend in the back was almost gagging from the smell and heat of it he said. :)

Now I remember why I quit making bread. Damn recipe calls for 2c of flour, I incorporate that and have a bowl of flour soupstarting at me. Luckily I have done enough that I knew to add more flour a bit at a time and keep stirring. Finally got what seems a workable ball of dough and kneaded it. Nowhere near the 8 minute knead called for, more like 4. But it springs back, which is what you are looking for. So now it is in the oven on Warm and Hold to proof. Fingers crossed.

Dude. Get a bread machine and use the dough setting. So much nicer and no mess.

At the least, use a stand mixer with a dough hook.
