Make sure you have all load turned off in your truck - no radio, no air, no lights, turn off your head unit. Can help if you have your battery warm so maybe start your truck up for a little bit and let it run then try again - some have seen this help.

Otherwise, just keep retrying.... on my old laptop it would sometimes fail 10+ times but if I kept retrying without turning the truck off it would always eventually write. Just make sure your cables are secure and all load on the battery is off

 

Yes I did. And Matt sent me the new file via email. I am also clueless when it comes to computer shit. HELP haha

 

Bingo. You need to request the files for the B04 ECU. it's likely failing b/c the files you have are incompatible with the ECU version you now have post TSB

 

Did you press the start button twice w/o your foot on the brake?

 

your start button needs to be on the second push. All lights and accessories off

 

Most likely it's cause hes trying to flash 04B03 over 04B04 like bshammer said.

 

Damn I really wish there were a faster way to get answers.... I told Matt I had the TSB and he asked me to send him the ECU ID foirst, then he sent me the new file. I assumed he read my email and knew I had the TSB.

 

The only payload rating that matters is what’s on the sticker on the driver’s doorjam. It will tell you what your allowable payload for your specific truck is not including any mod weight you’ve added such as bigger tires, heavier bumper etc.

Matt sent me the correct files, and that did the trick. Right away I could tell the idle was smoother and WOW I have my bottom end power back! Loving the 1.05 so far!

For the folks with the low rpm high load stumble have you received a new/revised file like those with the long 1-2 shift or idle surge? Mat sent me the logger I’ve just been so busy with work and life things I haven’t had the opportunity to get a log sent in! @OVTune

Does nearly caught up include the 2019 1.05 version?

 

Matt responded that he is working on a fix. Had issues with 1.05 93 tune... 87 tune w/ 93 oct ... then loaded 91 tune with 93 oct last night and all issues were gone today. 30 miles of city driving and can't get the truck to buck on low rpm and high load so that some how did the trick so far.
