The Colorado actually has a Manual Trans option too, but unfortunately only in 2 wheel drive models

It's the strippes model, the bare bones basic model if I remember correctly

Very few cars I like barebones, and that ain't one of them

Well, so long as a few provide the niche, they'll rule it

Just get the 6MT. You will be happier driving it instead of suffering with the auto. Whenever the Mrs. and I go out in my truck guess who gets to drive?20160713_192521.jpg

Looking back on things now, if I had picked up a manual 3rd Gen (17'), I would've kept it. Problem was the Toyota dealer couldn't keep any manuals in stock to test drive. All of them were also special ordered, so unless someone backed out...
I eventually got around to test driving a manual 16' Tacoma Sport after I sold my 17' auto and it was just so satisfying not thinking about the auto trans shifting. I liked the hill hold feature too in the Sport, but I know I wouldn't have it since I'd get the TRD OR.

Driving the 3rd gen 5spd never gets old. Still, everyday, I have a blast burning through winding roads, uphill, downhill, on my way to work. I STILL get stoked when I’m getting into the damn thing. That’s that “enjoyment of life” I require. It’s just geared perfectly (except for reverse obviously. It’s a drag racing gear)

    The 01 5spd isn’t even this fun.

As far as traffic... fuck traffic. I lived in SoCal up until a handful of years ago. Didn’t phase me. I could eat a carne Asada burrito and dip it in red sauce while shifting gears without thinking on the 10 or the 805 or the 15. You just have to develop coordination. I haz it.

It’s a 2018 Forester, last year for the manuals. We will probably keep this one and give it to our boy.

K, thought it might be a subbie but was not sure. We have an outback and I am fearing when we go buy the wife her next ride, when the truck is paid off in couple years. She doesn’t want an auto.

My 19 is still slow AF compared to my 08 but the fact is.....I would not have bought the auto and they would have lost a 6 time Toyo buyer.....love my new MT but still.....slow AF lol
