I think I just figured out my problem with the headlights. Swapped out a screwdriver for a power drill. Made much quicker work of the left and right adjustments. More power is always the answer

 

I'll tell you from doing retros, they're long as hell

 

Yeah, they are! When I bought my new headlights, I thought it would only take a couple turns to adjust the headlights, and I was so wrong! From the factory, they were facing the ground a foot in front of the truck.

 

Better than when I first got my Depo BHLM ones. I had one way up in the trees and the other was way off to the right

 

I got lucky I guess. I tried a set of depot lights and they seemed to be aimed correctly. Sadly, the eBay ad made them looked smoked like the sport/pro headlamps, but the lenses were smoked and looked like those AVS blackout covers.

 

I got mine on Amazon, I didn't mind having to aim them but they were waaaay off when I put them in

 

Oh, that's real bad! I even bought OEM housings, but you're right, at least they are easy to aim.

Quicker I get all my stuff on, quicker some of you peeps get bragging rights to say you got me on the trails.

 

I will see that when it actually happens......lol. I was hoping that we could wait until it got a little warmer......or at least have a place to put a truck inside a garage before we set a date. I have a lot of stuff to do to my truck as well and I want to get your front diff changed at the same time. Any ideas on a place, before we work on a date?

 

Btw, I have a list of people to tag to remind them to come.

 

Just bumping the thread and now looking to put stuff on until late Spring anyway. No idea where to really do all this

On another note, got quote for dense pack in the walls today......

 

Watching this thread! I have a pile of parts stacking up and the student loans keep climbing so my lofty plan to travel west and drive a rig home is dwindling. Might just patch and drive this to true death.
