It's not even mine! Anyway, I'm not sure I like it more than my 2003 Tacoma. The not being able to disable the traction control without locking the center diff really sucks as I can't whip donuts in 2WD in this thing. Also, my Taco does better donuts with its less powerful engine. The plus side to this 4Runner with the 4.0 is that it doesn't struggle to drive uphill like my 3.4 Taco.

 

That was my biggest dislike about the gx.. Not a fan of all time 4wd or whatever it's called...same thing that 4runner has.

 

At least it isn’t awd all the time like the v8 runner and gx470. No donuts for me.

 

Eh, I don’t mind it. Gas mileage could be a little better but it’s not terrible.

Haha yeah working out the details. If i did that I'll be rolling up with a friend with destination of the tri-cities. And probably hit the tail of the dragon!

They are called fly over states for a reason.

 

Mostly because the arrogant big city pricks on either coast feel that the people who live there aren't worth their consideration.

 

That could be... But I call them that because I have no interest in driving through 10 hours straight of them. I've only had to do it once and don't want to do it again. Driving to DIA is bad enough.

 

Anyone been to a event held by Steel City Off-road? They are doing a cleanup this weekend down at the Sand Dune National Park and I'm wondering how that group is.

 

Haven't heard of them but if they are doing a cleanup event, they are fine by me!

 

True but still a fun and scenic drive along with the Cherohala Skyway. I was up there for Wake the Dragon years ago.
