Anyone know who's hiring (USMC vet/BS in Anthropology in May '19). Looking at probably moving back in the fun months (July/August).

Sure does! The metallic flake in it makes it look almost orange if the sun hits it just right. But then when its darker lighting, its like a dark cherry red. Kinda weird how it changes

If that's the Barcelona Red, it REALLY does change with the light. Had it on the wife's RAV and she loved it.

    Lol nope

    Jeeeeez...

Semper Fi bro. Got a lead from a Marine buddy on a good paying career in oil and gas. Not quite your major but it doesn't matter, they'll train you. The opening is for a drilling and completions representative for Chevron. PM if you want.

    1. Jeeze? Not Happy I can feather foot? If I could stand the heights, I could wheel a chopper! (Bell flew me around Lockhart years ago - that view is FAR MORE than a window seat. I think I have vertigo or something. Can't even look down CCC Chop Shop drive when I walk!

    2. Who cares what your major is - if they pay you, you can do it. Wife turned down oil and gas when she moved here with me. Too bad, cause she had a degree in Oceanography they would have paid for!

2.5 Only twice in my life did I get my job in what I trained or studied for. Do what others won't, you got a job.

    1. lol, believe it or not I'm afraid of heights. :anonymous:

    2. Agreed. And right now O&G pays, pays, pays. I miss working the oil field, 80-120 weekly paychecks looked like lotto tickets. Have contemplated going back recently. Flying is great but it simply doesn't pay.

2.5. Do what others won't and you've got a good paying job and job security.

Got some new fish the other day. First one is out of quarantine today. The other has a light case of ick and will be in quarantine another day or two.

    LOL.
I always get a window seat on a jet if I can. And I am OK on my own roof. But I can't look down a big atrium in a hotel without a firm grip. Looking at CCC driveway forward convinces me I will drive right down the hill - in the rear view mirror, convinces me my brakes will fail.

If they won't give you military consideration, flying talents are probably still appreciated in O*G, and I bet if you stuck DRONE in there....

And that last will remain true until the end of time.

Yes, and no. No more tanks in the house, and never did salt water. I have some feeder goldfish that live in a tank outside, and I call them KOI when I feed them. They are about 9" or so nowadays, and they don't freeze.
