Have you looked into Bilsteins? I had 5100s on my old 2nd gen prerunner and liked how they rode better than the OMEs. Also, my OME rear shocks weren't long enough for the Dakars

 

The struggle is definitely real. It's like being grounded and watching through the living room window at all the neighborhood kids playing outside.

 

I see what you are saying. I ended up getting ARB air locker in the front when I switched to 5.29's mainly because of price and hassle of opening everything up again. I already had an air compressor installed in the truck and didn't wanted to pay extra 400 or 500 for selectable electronic locker because I do have electric factory locker in the rear.

 

Are you running a front bumper? I may have some 885s I’ll be looking to unload pretty soon...

 

I have also been looking at the bilstein 6112 coilovers, same price range as OME.

cool can you let me how your rear shock install goes per DannyB comment above saying their too short for that combo.

 

To clarify - they should mount up, but they're going to be the limiting factor for rear travel off road

To add to what Danny is saying. If you don't limit strap them they won't last long if you off road a lot. Because there too short . If your carefully and go slow probably not an issue.

 

I feel the same. ADS + HD Dakars. Dont even have to think about it anymore...
