OP, another good thing to look into is holster availability and magazine prices. Some of those sig mags are $60 a pop.... I can get OEM glock mags for $18.99 each

Not gonna beat Glock mags. That said if your looking for sig mags go to Greg Cote and get mecgar mags. They make the factory mags for sig and are cheaper because they stamp mecgar instead of sig but they make both. Not cheaper then Glock but better then sig prices

Good choice, I like sig but the striker issues have me worried. Hopefully that’s ironed out now. Use to use a 226 for 2 gun, m11 or 938 for ccw depending on clothing/weather. So I’m definitely a fan but they should have endurance tested that prior to release

Yeah. The Sig 365 we rented was dragging the firing pin on the primer and the week before when we tried to rent it it was “broken”. Front sight came off. It did win hand gun of the year but I dunno. It is in that “magical” category. It reminds me of the idea I had when I first held the Walther Pk380. I wanted that exact gun but in a 10rd 9mm and that’s about what it is. If walther was smart they’d add a slide release to the pk380 and make it a 9mm and boom off to the races.

I would get a Glock 19. Glocks are super reliable. If you plan to do modifications later, they have the best market as well. Everything is made for Glock. Whatever you decide make sure to get a lot of trigger time.

Don’t forget to check the BX too! No sales tax and they will price match I think.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I would agree with with this. A CZ-75 is a very comfortable gun. Definitely worth handling. I enjoy shooting mine a lot.

What’s up man? I saw your post on the lockbox. You said you put one inside the “frame”? Did you bolt one of these inside your frame rail?
I ask because this is something I would like to do.

Might be different on the 3rd gens but on mine all I had to do was remove the little rubber "carpet" or bottom piece to my center console and there were two bolts. That goes to the metal frame below. So once you install the locker down safe into the console. They have two holes that line up where those bolts go. So the safe box is bolted to the frame from inside the safe. It's rock solid. Also a few milimeters thick. I can't remember what guage of cold rolled steel or whatever they use. I can keep my Garmin, two glocks, a radar detecor, all sorts of cables and garage clicker in there no problem. Looks like 2nd gen one might be bigger though.

No worries man. We can be friends.

I often times leave my gun in the truck and I always hated the idea of a smash and grab. Co-worker had that happen to them at my last job (and we live and work in a really nice area) so I went to google. The center console safe is well worth the money. The long gun one, I'm still chewing on. But it would give me an excuse to have a "Truck Gun" :D

First step of theft prevention, don't put stickers advertising you have valuables inside. Super common on vehicles, but even when I delivered I saw lots of gun stickers on front doors etc. Which in my mind says "come back when I'm not home".

Shot the new G45 (basically a black 19X) It's definitely an interesting handgun and a great one for Close Quarter Combat. That being said, a reversed one like a 19L would be a better option for conceal carry.

This one moved fast but I did see someone recommend the 19x.

This was my 1st handgun purchase after much research and even renting each to shoot.

I wanted a 9mm and was looking at both 4th and 5th Gen 19s and the 17. I shot all of them at the range on the same day. I thought I was close to a decision and one if the range guys asked if I've seen the 19x. I took it back to the lanes and it was instant love.

I'll be heading up to Ted's this weekend to throw some rounds, if you're in Phoenix I'd be happy to let you give it a try. You pay your own range fees and ammo ;)

The G43x and 48 are also out very very soon.

I'm looking at the 43x vs 43 for a conceal carry option.

Ted's shooting range is where I purchased after talking with Glock Meister and a few others comparing prices.

Merchant Arms was also super nice and prices on par. I would have went there had Ted's not blown me away with service.

Prices were all within 20$ but Teds waived all my rentals and targets. I just paid for ammo because I purchased that day.
