Went to the locksmith to get keys made for some new HON storage cabinets I found for $20 a piece at goodwill. $10 each i was able to get both cabinet handles and was pretty pumped when he made keys for my camper aswell!

Wow. $1142.80. Toyota sure does think highly of that piece of plastic.

Its in the drop down list. Definitely got the Tacoma ones. If I were to do it again id just buy the toyota kit. Comes with everything you need for $50. the SDHQ boots "kit" is far from complete. No grease (inner and outer should be different) no small clamps and no new snap rings.

Oh and that cable hanging down is the USB cable for the unit which I ran through one of the vent holes in the dash. Now When I plug in my phone on the windshield holder I dont have any cables dangling in front of the dash :p Something I've wanted for a while...

I went with the 100 because I didn't want the CD player. Other than that I believe they're the same.

Timing belt service done at the dealer yesterday. $750 and about 6 hours. They had a few arcade machines to pass the time!

Toyota dealers are pretty cool when it comes to customer service. Mine will let you borrow a bike and ride the city greenway thats right behind their building. Or theyll pay for you to catch an uber anywhere within city limits. And pay for one back to the dealer.

So the issue was the vertical bolt was smaller diameter than the oem bushing sleeve in the rack, I must’ve not paid attention to the year when ordering. Looks like 01-04 have a larger bolt there. The new bushing sleeve in that spot didn’t fit right either, took some persuasion (to put it lightly) to get the bolt through.

Truck finally drives great though. Better than it has in the 2.5 years I’ve had it
