    I would spend to much time thinking about it. If your O2 sensor hasn't thrown you a code, it's probably burning "sufficiently" to not gum up the works. Although I would consider an oil change asap just to ensure that the solvent aspects of the seafoam don't dilute your oil too much.

    Just think of this like a DPF cleaning. It will burn off some caked up shit in the cat, and might be where the blowback is coming from. Solvent based fumes, high heat, and flammable gas fumes could be the right mixture to frack and blow out all that build up.
