It's a little early to post about it but in September Vermont Overlanding does a weekend long overlanding/wheeling event in Reading, VT. From the looks of it theres a pretty diverse range of terrain. Makes a bunch of stops at local shops/businesses along the way.

Maybe we could pull off a day trip at some point. But remember I’m still stock, including the shitty sport tires.

I’ve replaced lower ball joints and the steering rack in my first gen, it’s finally ready for some New England trails

You have any experience East of the Milford area? Thats Stud Mill Rd area. Would be a on the longer side, but a doable day trip for us from So ME. Pretty much and endless spider web of roads and trails. Nothing that stock couldn't do, so long as your tries arent too too shitty

Don’t think I’ve been out that way. I have had worse tires, these suck, but not that bad.

Quiet in here, tough time of year for responsible wheeling I suppose. Anyone got plans to get out there in the next few weeks?

There was just an article about the taunton trail by my house. Guess I'm not supposed to go in there after all even though it's a road. Plus complaints about dirt bikes and ATVs and trash.

Is it a town road? If so you should be allowed to traverse so long as you don't leave the road.

Yep town road good for flat tires. Was just in there and people have put pallets and old tires in the water crossings. Decided to turn around.

Up for some camping/wheeling trips if I get a few weeks advance notice.

Anyone in CT have a decent bottle jack? Gotta replace my lca bushings.

I’m looking for a hydraulic bottle jack specifically, to pop out the oem lca bushings. but a floor jack would also be useful. I’m thinking I’ll buy a harbor freight floor jack and possibly buy/return a bottle jack. Unless I can find one local to borrow

Just rent one from AutoZone. You put a deposit down then get the money back when you return it.

Harbor Freight has a few, got a nice 20 ton bottle Jack from them on the cheap. Used the 20% coupon.

Not to sound like an ass but almost everyone in here should have a bottle jack that can do that job. The standard jack that comes with our trucks is a bottle jack and has more than enough power to push out the bushings. That is what we used when James changed his bushings at a mod day a couple of years ago.
